Go and get a hold of the newest evolution series in HDTV technology. The new KDL-46XBR8 BRAVIA XBR8 LCD flat panel HDTV comes in TRILUMINOS RGB Dynamic LED Backlight. This feature creates a more accurate color reproduction, higher purity of colors and deeper depths of blacks and whites and a realistic shadow detail. This HDTV series also has Motionflow 120HZ PRO technology that enhances the sharpness and makes actions more natural and realistic. With Full HD 1080 resolution panel, images will look more natural. This new evolution of Sony XBR8 Series also features DMex functionality which widens the capabilities of HDTV by adding optional BRAVIA Link modules (sold separately). It has plenty of connectivity options that lets you connect your video sources.
A bold new design with a color-accented speaker grille complements the gloss black finish, which also hints at the floating glass look of previous Sony XBR8 models. If you’re looking for some personalization you can purchase an optional speaker grille in multiple colors.

A Win?
The Sony XBR8 is a fantastic looking television, with fairly accurate color points, decent (if not great) processing, and a contrast ratio that is considerably better than most other LCDs. It fact, it’s one of the best-looking LCDs on the market.
But despite what the numbers may suggest, the on-screen contrast ratio still isn’t to the level of the best plasmas. If the “p” word turns you off, then this is the first place you should look.
